Police Box Belt Pocket

I'm still here and everything is fine. I just kind of hit a rut where I didn't really feel like doing anything crafty. Anyways, here is the latest project. I like to wear skirts and it sucks not having pockets. So I came up with this belt pocket. I am making this a free pattern since I haven't put out any free patterns in a while. Here you go. I hope you like it.

NOTE: If everything goes well, I plan on making a web series. The first edition will be on how to crochet. I will just be covering basic stuff. Then I will move on to other crafty things. I am still a little nervous about being on camera, but I will give it a good try. Keep checking back if that is something that interests you :)

Police Box Belt Pocket
April Folts 2013
For personal use only If you are going to post pictures anywhere, please link back to me so I get credit for the pattern. Thanks :)

  Hook size:
Yarn: 100% acrylic, 4 ply, Worsted Weight, RedHeart Olympic Blue, White, and Black Yarn

STITCH EXPLANATION:
FpSc = Front Post Single Crochet
BpSc = Back Post Single Crochet
sc = Single Crochet
ch = Chain
Row = Row

 Piece 1:

When complete, fold bottom up to just below the black at the top. Set aside until last piece is made. It would be easier to add the bead letters and black to the windows now, but you can do it at any time.

This picture might help with the outside pocket, but it isn’t necessary. It just gives you an idea of what you will be doing.

Piece 2 (Outside Pocket)

Note: It doesn’t really matter on the ends if the post is front or back, when you sew it together it doesn’t really show up. It is just a texture thing. Plus it is hard to do a post stitch on the ends let alone tell if it is front or back post.

Quick and Chunky Slouchy Hat

I wanted to make a hat that was thick because it is getting cold. I was surprised at how fast I completed this. It only took me a few hours. This hat is made holding two pieces of yarn together. I thought it might turn out too heavy but I took a chance. I like how it turned out. My daughter did too so it now belongs to her lol I have the pattern available for $3 in my Etsy Shop if anyone is interested.

Elven Ranger Hood

I made this because I received quite a few requests for a hat like this. A few of you wanted my dark wizard hood but you wanted it with a long tail and couldn't figure out how to make it. So here it is :)My awesome friend Aaron did a great job modeling for me. You might recognize him from the Super Long Goth Hat pattern. We had a lot of fun ;) He actually inspired the name a little bit. The Axe he is holding is a Lord of the Rings Replica. The long tail of the hat made me think of Legolas and the hood made me think of Aragorn. So combine the two and this is what I got lol. The Pattern will be available for $3.00 in my etsy shop if anyone is interested.
******************* I have also decided to offer another sale because Christmas/Yule is just around the corner :) I am only going to list this a couple times so it won't be a normal option.
Have a Wonderful Day/Night Everyone! Thanks for reading :)

Super Sale All of my current crochet patterns for $80.00

I just wanted to let you all know that I am having a sale. If anyone has ever wanted all of my patterns, now is the time. This is a very unique sale and won't last long. A financial situation came up and we need to raise over $400 by next Thursday. I am selling all of my patterns (that is 47 patterns) for $80.00. I added up what it would cost for all of these patterns and it came to $187.20 So when you purchase this you will be saving $107.20. That is way more than 50% off. The sale will stop when either Thursday comes or when we have all we need. Thanks for reading this :) If you want to take advantage of this sale, go to my Etsy Store and look for the listing that has this picture: I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped us out through through the years. It really means so much to us :)

Other Stuffage

I just wanted to let you all know that I am still alive and everything is fine. I haven't really felt like crocheting lately so that is why there haven’t been any new patterns. I have still been crafting just not crocheting. I will post more patterns in the future so please don't give up on me :) Anyways, here are some pictures of some of the other stuff I have made. I know it isn't crochet and I debated on whether or not to post it, but I figured it would still be ok :) Take Care Everyone! The glasses are hand etched, the masks are made out of pine needles, and the pictures are drawings/paintings I made :)

Woodland Top Hat

With all of this snow I have been thinking of Spring. How fun it will be to go hiking in the woods ;) I wanted to make a hat that I could wear to keep the flies off my head and the sun out of my eyes. This is the design I came up with. Oh and I am excited I finally get to use my "man" mannequin head. Unfortunately, I can only take side view pictures of him because whoever painted his eyes made him look like he had a lazy eye and he looks horrible. Oh well. It still works lol ;D What do you think? I have the pattern available for $3 in my Etsy shop if anyone is interested. Have a Great Day everyone :)
